Brief description of RTP
The focus at this laboratory is on material development for and through AM, as well as powder production, recyclability in AM, and non-destructive structural analysis. The laboratory includes equipment for: Powder production for AM: atomizer and furnace for feeding material, Powder characterization: flowability, spreadability, particle size distribution, laser powder absorptivity, Non-destructive 3D structural analysis: dynamic micro-CT and Post-processing equipment: wire EDM, tumbling, dry electropolishing.
